Everest this 2017 to finish his vision. While Charleton travels, he spends much of his time photographing near his home in northern California with his wife of eighteen years and three daughters. Charleton photographs a maximum of forty weddings a year while teaching photography as an instructor at BPSOP. He recently was invited to speak for Nikon at WPPI in the Las Vegas Convention Center, and also speaks at photography conferences and conventions across the U.S.

Charleton Churchill is available to photograph weddings and elopements in and around Mt. Everest Base camp. This is a rare opportunity to capture your wedding vows in the beautiful himalayas by an experienced mountaineer and photographer who has been there. Trekking up from the Lukla airport into the Mt. Charleton travels often to Lake Tahoe for weddings and Engagement sessions in the mountains and around the lake. Numerous locations provide beautiful backdrops such as north Lake, south Lake, the Ritz Carlton, the Tahoe Rim Trail, downtown, along the beaches, and other special locations where I have photographed. Whether it’s a Winter wedding, a Summer ceremony, or anything in between, you will surely be amazed.

One of the best destinations California provides for elopements, engagement shoots, and weddings. Whether it’s hiking into the wilderness to elope at the top of Half-Dome, joining your family at the Ahwahnee Hotel for your ceremony, or planning your event at the cabins of Evergreen Lodge, you will experience the outdoor rustic photography you were seeking. Engagement sessions around Yosemite are a popular and Charleton has experience all around the park. He has climbed half dome over thirty-five times and continues to explore.

Since Charleton is based in northern California, many of his bookings are in and around Sacramento. Engagement shoots around the Capital and downtown are popular. For the most of the year, Charleton is photographing in locations such as Auburn, Grass Valley, Folsom, Lodi, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Winters, Roseville, Lincoln, and Loomis to name a few.

No doubt, Carmel and Napa are most popular and Charleton photographs many weddings there every year. In 2014, he photographed five Carmel weddings alone. The Carmel Hyatt Highlands is a popular wedding venue and enjoys documenting weddings there.

Charleton enjoys traveling to unique destinations around the world with his couples. Most of his travel is within the United States and he enjoys documenting weddings in Colorado, New York, Washington, Texas, Oregon, and of course Hawaii. Last year, Charleton won an International Award for an image he photographed on Kauai at Na Aina Kai. He often travels to Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, Santa Barbara, and Orange County.
