Best of 2012 wedding photography, some random favorites

I photographed quite a few weddings this 2012 year from all over California to out of state. Last year in 2011, I photographed forty weddings and quite a few engagement sessions, many out of state (New York, Colorado, Missouri, Texas, Washington, and a few others). This 2012 year I set a cap at thirty weddings, and I ended up going a little over with a few smaller weddings, plus I was more than happy to return to Colorado for another wedding. I’m hoping to blog more weddings from this year and even last year. It was my desire to post so many images on today’s blog, much more than what shared below, much more. Here are some of the images from this 2012 year that I have posted, blogged, and enjoyed.

Four Season Hotel Wedding Photography

Another gorgeous wedding in the Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, California. Marcus and Helen planned their elegant and classy wedding well! I enjoyed traveling from the Four Seasons Hotel where they were getting ready, then to the prestigious Stanford University, then to the beautiful vintage church downtown for the ceremony, and then back to the Hotel for their wedding reception. When we arrived at Stanford University, I felt smarter just pulling into the driveway entrance alone. Marcus and Helen allowed us freedom and time to photograph them together before the ceremony (they did the first look), along with the wedding party. Typically I post images on my blog that were directed in some fashion and don’t show off more the photo-journalistic images. Here I have posted some near the bottom to let others see the off moments as well. What a pleasant time, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to join them on their wedding day celebration. Carmel Wedding Photographer, Carmel beach Wedding, Blake and Melissa

We were expecting cold and cloudy. What actually came on Friday was warm and sunny (but cloudy later). Blake and Melissa couldn’t have had a better day than to celebrate their commitment and union as one with friends and family at Carmel beach California. I had photographed their engagement session only recently at the Folsom Lake beach as they desired the beach theme in everything. This has classy written all over it. Melissa’s dress, her mother, all the bridesmaids and flower girls dresses were all custom-designed by the impressive Miosa Couture. Our team was welcomed and enjoyed covering their wedding with this warm and friendly crowd. Congratulations to Blake and Melissa, family, and friends.
